Questions worth asking.
How often do you test?
Every 90 days. Every new production batch is sampled and sent to
Dr. Born’s lab in Germany before any units ship. We don’t pool batches.
We don’t test once a year. We test every quarter, every batch, without exceptions.
Why do you test in Germany?
Germany has some of the strictest pharmaceutical and food-safety standards in the world.
Our lab partner, Plenum-Analytik GmbH, operates under EU GMP frameworks
and uses the same DIN and ISO methods used to certify medical-grade ingredients.
That’s the bar we hold every batch to.
Who is Dr. Markus Born?
Dr. Born holds a PhD in Chemistry from TU Munich and serves as Head of Laboratory
at our independent testing partner. He personally signs the “Befund”
(final assessment) on every SunnaFoods batch certificate. He is not a SunnaFoods
employee — he is a third-party auditor who can refuse a batch if it doesn’t
meet specification.
What happens if a batch fails?
It doesn’t ship. If a batch returns a result outside specification,
the entire batch is rejected, the source is investigated, and a replacement batch is
produced and re-tested. Customers are not notified because no failed batch ever reaches them.
Are these certificates legally binding?
The certificates published here are independently issued by Plenum-Analytik GmbH and
carry the laboratory’s signature, address, and Analyse-Nr. They are valid
third-party laboratory documents.
Can I request the certificate for the exact bottle I bought?
Yes. Every product carries a Lot / Charge number on the bottle. Match it to the
Lot above each certificate to find the exact result for your batch. If you can’t
find a match, email us and we’ll send the certificate within 24 hours.
