Why we test

Food takes up what is in the soil.

This is how farming works. Rice, fish and cocoa all carry a little. That is why the EU sets a limit for each food. And why we test every batch.

What people ask.

What do the numbers on the report mean?

Take lead. The report says less than 3,0 mg/kg. That means the lab looked and did not find more than that. The EU limit for food supplements is the same number. Under it is good.

How often do you test?

Every 90 days. Every new batch goes to the lab before one bottle ships. We do not mix batches. We do not test once a year.

Why a lab in Germany?

Germany has some of the strictest food rules in the world. The lab works to the same standards used for medicine (EU GMP, DIN, ISO). That is the bar for every batch.

Who is Dr. Markus Born?

He runs the lab. PhD in chemistry, TU Munich. He signs the final line on every report. He does not work for us. He can refuse a batch.

What if a batch fails?

It does not ship. The batch is destroyed. We find the cause, make a new batch and test it again. No failed batch ever reaches you.

Is the report real?

Yes. The lab writes it. It carries the lab's name, address, report number and signature. We only publish it.

Can I see the report for my own bottle?

Yes. Read the lot number on your bottle. Find the same number above. No match? Email us. You get it within 24 hours.

Is it halal?

Yes. The softgels have no gelatine from animals. No alcohol is used to press the oil.
